Hi, I’m Jamie — a Tulsa wedding and portrait photographer who believes photos should feel relaxed, natural, and actually enjoyable. If you’re considering booking a session, you probably have questions — and I love that. The more prepared you feel, the smoother and more fun your experience will be.

Here are the most common session questions I get from families, couples, and seniors.

1. How far in advance should we book a session?

I recommend booking at least 3–4 weeks in advance, especially during spring and fall. Those seasons fill quickly. If you’re hoping for a specific date (like around a birthday or anniversary), the earlier the better.

If you're last minute, still reach out — sometimes I have flexibility.

2. What should we wear?

I guide all my clients through wardrobe.

I recommend:

Neutrals with soft textures

Coordinated, not matching

Avoiding busy logos and harsh neon colors

Your outfits absolutely impact the overall feel of your gallery.

3. What if my kids don’t cooperate?

This is one of the biggest fears — and honestly, you don’t need to stress about it.

I build space into sessions for movement, breaks, and natural interaction, or if it's best, we can choose a mini session. Some of the best images happen in between the “posed” moments.

Your job is to show up calm. My job is to handle the rest.

5. How long does it take to receive our photos?

All sessions include a 1-week gallery delivery.

Yes — one week.

I know waiting is hard, and I value quick turnaround without sacrificing quality.

6. How do we book?

Once you inquire [HERE], I’ll send over:

Session details

Available dates

Contract + invoice

Your date is officially reserved once the contract is signed and retainer is paid.

If you’re ready for a session that feels organized, relaxed, and intentional — I’d love to work with you.
