Family & Lifestyle Portraits

Weddings

Hi, I’m Jamie — a full-time photographer, wife, mom of two boys, and the person behind the camera at Capturing Candid Photography.

I’ve been married to my husband since 2019, and together we’re building a life we love here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Most days you can find me balancing motherhood, editing galleries, chasing little boys around, and documenting some of the most meaningful moments in people’s lives.

My goal is for you to leave feeling cared for, comfortable, and confident.

Photography became more than just taking beautiful images for me. It became about preserving feeling — the laughter, connection, nervous excitement, quiet in-between moments, and memories that deserve to be remembered years from now.

One of the biggest things I hear from clients is that they feel awkward in front of the camera, and honestly, that’s completely normal. It’s not your job to know what to do. My role is to guide you through the experience in a way that feels relaxed, natural, and true to you. Some moments need direction, while others unfold on their own — and I love finding the balance between the two.

While weddings are at the heart of what I do, I also photograph families, seniors, couples, and branding sessions for local businesses. No matter the session type, my goal is always the same: creating timeless images that help you remember not just what life looked like, but how it felt.

I’m always open to traveling for weddings and sessions, and I don’t charge travel fees within 2 hours for regular sessions or within 3 hours for weddings.
